Raise the Sails Fall 2023 Philanthropy Cord Campaign

Raise the Sails-  a campaign to raise support for students who board the Viking ship! Proceeds support the Student Affairs Resource Fund. This fund helps provide a rewarding experience for all students. 

As you transition from student to alumni, the expectation is that as Vikings, you will continue to raise the standard in all that you do. We encourage you to join your local ECSU alumni association chapter no matter where you are in the world, stay involved, and always show your Viking pride. As a new Viking alum, you will receive a one-year free membership to the alumni chapter of your choice. 

With the Raise the Sails campaign, when you give a gift of at least $18.91, you can receive a royal blue philanthropy cord to wear at commencement. Your gift will support the student experience at ECSU. 

So, Raise the Sails and receive the following benefits:

• acknowledgment at commencement by the ECSU National Alumni Association
• be connected with a Viking alumni mentor 
• recognition during the senior reception
