About the Gala
Entering its 17th year, the Founders Day Gala has honored dozens of significant contributors to the Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) legacy, celebrated the historic institution's founding, and raised over $1.5 million in scholarships for ECSU students.
The Chancellor’s Legacy Award recognizes individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations who have best demonstrated the standard of excellence that defines and shapes ECSU as an institution.
For more information, please call the Office of University Advancement at (252) 335-3225.
Since 2007, the Founders Day Scholarship Gala has helped raise more than $1.6 million for student scholarships. With the continuous support and engagement of our partners and donors, we hope to ensure an even brighter future for ECSU students and fuel a culture of growth throughout the region.
